Ines’ positive birth story

I had my first baby in July 2025 after a straightforward pregnancy with no complications. However, towards the end of my pregnancy, I became increasingly anxious about going overdue. That’s when I found Lianna, and her support made all the difference.

I attended Lianna’s pregnancy yoga classes both in person and online, and each session helped my body and mind slow down and truly relax. This deep sense of relaxation is exactly what labour requires, allowing the body to do what it naturally knows to do. After just two weeks of practising pregnancy yoga, I went into labour on my exact due date. The classes helped me enjoy the final weeks of my pregnancy much more and gave me the space to really take care of myself.

When labour began, I was able to stay at home for a long time by using the exercises Lianna had taught me, along with hypnobirthing visualisations and breathing techniques. By the time I arrived at the birth centre, it was clear I was already in advanced labour, and just two hours later, my son was born.

Combining pregnancy yoga with hypnobirthing was the perfect mix. It gave me confidence, calm, and a truly positive birth experience. Labour was still labour, but it was far better than I ever imagined.
