Class and Services Terms & Conditions
Last updated: [02/03/2026]
1. About these terms
These terms and conditions apply to all yogabirth and related classes, courses, workshops and services provided by Lianna Greene, trading as Yogabirth with Lianna (“I”, “me”, “my”), to you (“you”, “your”).
By booking or attending any class or service, you agree to these terms.
2. Eligibility and health
By booking or attending, you confirm that you are fit and well enough to take part in gentle exercise appropriate for pregnancy / postnatal recovery, and that you will follow any guidance given by your midwife, doctor or other health professional.
You agree to:
Inform me of your stage of pregnancy or postnatal recovery and any relevant health conditions or complications (past or present).
Update me promptly if your circumstances change (for example, new symptoms, complications, or advice from a health professional to modify or stop activity).
I may decline or discontinue your participation, or suggest modifications, if I reasonably believe it is not safe or appropriate for you to continue.
3. Booking and payment
Bookings are taken on a first‑come, first‑served basis via Setmore or directly with me.
Your place is only confirmed once full payment (or the agreed deposit) has been received and you have received a confirmation email.
Prices are stated at the time of booking and may change from time to time, but once you have booked, the price for that booking will not change.
If you are paying in instalments (where offered), you agree to pay all instalments on the dates agreed at the time of booking.
4. Cancellations and refunds – by you
Adapt the numbers to your client’s real policy.
Classes (drop‑in or block bookings)
If you cancel more than 24 hours before the class start time, you may choose: receive a refund or receive a credit / transfer to another date, subject to availability.
If you cancel within less than 24 hours or do not attend, your payment is non‑refundable unless the space in the class has been filled. It is advised to inform me as soon as you are unable to attend so that your place can be re-advertised.
Courses and workshops
Deposits are non‑refundable / refundable in certain circumstances, subject to discretion.
If you cancel more than 7 days before the start date, you may receive a full refund minus admin fee / transfer to a future course, subject to availability.
If you cancel within less than 7 days of the start date, or after the course has begun, fees are usually non‑refundable.
If you need to cancel due to a medical reason or pregnancy‑related complication, I encourage you to contact me as soon as possible; I may, at my discretion, offer a transfer or partial refund even where it is outside the usual timeframes.
5. Cancellations and changes – by me
I aim to run all classes and courses as advertised, but I may occasionally need to cancel or change a class, teacher, venue, or timetable (for example, due to illness, low numbers, or events beyond my control).
If I cancel a class or course that you have booked and paid for, you will be offered a full refund / a credit / a transfer to another date, or, where appropriate, an online or rescheduled alternative.
I will give as much notice as reasonably possible using the contact details you provided.
6. Late arrivals and missed sessions
Please arrive on time for classes. If you arrive late, I may not be able to admit you if the warm‑up or key safety briefing has already taken place.
Missed sessions are generally not refundable or transferable, unless otherwise agreed.
7. Online classes (where applicable)
For online classes, you are responsible for:
Ensuring you have a safe, clear space to practise, free from hazards.
Checking that your device, internet connection and camera (if used) are working.
I cannot be responsible for any issues arising from your personal equipment, internet connection or environment.
By choosing to leave your camera off, you accept that I may not be able to offer the same level of observation or individual adjustment as in person.
8. Safety and your responsibilities
You are responsible for listening to your body, working within your own limits and stopping any movement that causes pain, dizziness, or discomfort.
You agree to follow my instructions and any health and safety guidance I provide, including during pregnancy and after birth.
You understand that yoga and movement carry some inherent risk, and you participate voluntarily and at your own risk, except where any injury is caused directly by my negligence.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes my liability for death or personal injury caused by my negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
I am not liable for any loss or damage that is not reasonably foreseeable, or for any indirect or consequential loss (such as loss of income or opportunity).
I am not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to follow medical advice or to disclose relevant health information.
10. Photography, recordings and confidentiality
I will not record or photograph you without your consent, except where recordings are an agreed part of an online course.
If you participate in a recorded session, I will tell you in advance how the recording will be used and stored.
I will treat any personal and health information you share in confidence and in line with my Privacy Policy.
11. Behaviour and respectful environment
I aim to provide a calm, respectful and supportive environment for all.
I reserve the right to ask anyone to leave, and/or to refuse future bookings, if their behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, abusive or otherwise inappropriate.
In such cases, any refund will be at my discretion.
12. Force majeure
I am not responsible for any failure or delay in performing my obligations where this is caused by events beyond my reasonable control (for example, extreme weather, power cuts, internet outages, government restrictions, illness, or venue closures).
Where possible, I will offer an alternative such as an online class, rescheduled date, or credit.
13. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time.
The version that applies is the one in force at the time you make your booking; however, minor changes that do not materially affect your rights may apply to current bookings.
14. Governing law
These terms, and any dispute about them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
You and I agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
